Will Vernon score 40...

I’m curious how many of you think Vernon will score 40 this year? I think he will get it twice. Hopefully once in ACC play. Thoughts?

He could if he makes his free throws. He gets fouled a lot and has opportunities at the free throw line. He's getting better. Just think how many points he could score if he were a 80 per cent free throw shooter. One thing is he would get fouled as much and he would tear down the goal on the inside. OFC

I thought he had a chance at it last night until the cramps.
It was idiotic that MSU wasn’t trying to double team him, almost like they were trying to save that for a possible Tournament matchup. Because if not....Izzo is dumb.

I’ll say this, if we weren’t so damn balanced he could average 25+ and have several 40 point nights. As is, I don’t think he’ll get enough attempts in any one game to get there.

I don't see him getting 40. Teams will get more tape on him and we are too deep to need to heavily rely on him. Joey on the other hand.....
