Which is why all seasonal viruses prior to now have always had a mortality rate calculated by number of actual deaths (e.g. actual "flu" deaths, not "flu-related") divided by the ESTIMATED number of infections among the entire population. If they approached CV-19 this way, both the mortality rate and rate of infection (spread) would be lower than ANY seasonal virus prior to CV19.
