More idiots on this road than all the other arteries out of town. Can anyone from Winchester, KY, drive a vehicle that isn't a tractor?? Because there are plenty of those. You have to alot yourself at least fifteen minutes for the inevitable farmer who's oblivious to the stretch of cars behind him. Or you're stuck behind some hoarder who can't see out their rear view mirror, their junk is stacked too high.
Stupid sons of bitches. I've had my mirror knocked off from someone passing me on that road before. And today I was almost rear-ended by some shitass in a cavalier passing me uphill. Some car met him and he darted back behind me.
This is every day. It's like the Thunderdome. Who gives the driver's test in Clark Co, because they are failing miserably.

D League sure gets their panties riled in a bunch over Winchester. I guess that's where the monthly meet and jerks take place.

And Hankshaker has no room to talk. Pretty sure he can't be within 500 yards of a school.

There are spots you can. Few and far between. Sometimes I take Todd's road, but there is one curve, again, folks from Winchester just can't figure out. It looks rather innocuous, but I've seen multiple wrecks at this turn of the road between Venable and 1923. Too much speeding.

Folks, just give yourself time to get there.

I could take I64 every day, but I truly believe that's how people get Alzheimer's. It's good to mix it up.

At least they can probably spell "allot."

People that opt for 2 lane, 55 mph state roads over the interstate to avoid a neurological disorder usually don't blow their **** on the paddock when said roads cause delays.

Crazy, you're missing the broader picture, per usual. And this is no different from when you start spouting off about working while your boss vacations and generational wealth differences.
Go diversify your 401k or plan your family's financial future, or whatever the **** you're ragging on incessantly about.

Pray tell, what the broader picture is when discussing taking a road that has a speed limit 20 mph lower than another approximately a football field and a half to the north and then ******* complaining about not getting to your destination quick enough.

******* bozos, the lot of you.

I'm no logistics wizard…but I'm pretty sure the traffic on Winchester Rd. headed out of Lexington would get back to normal just as soon as all of the idiots that could take the much quicker, much more sensible I-64 route home, clear the way by doing just that.

Look inward, grasshopper. For you are searching for a solution to a problem that you habitually perpetuate.

Now that I think of it...I have a similar problem as the OP...

I work in Louisville and live in Lexington. And the traffic on US 60 out of Louisville after work is a ***** on the way home. Way too many traffic lights. And don't get me started on the farmers with their tractors...I feel your pain, OP. Not to mention that I am usually driving through Frankfort about 4:45 pm. Man those state workers drive like idiots...and for some odd reason they all decide to come out of the woodwork at the same time every single day. Go figure.

But I do get a glorious view of the state Capitol every day on the way home. So there's that. And the beautiful horse farms in Woodford County almost make the 6 hour journey home worth it.

Just sick and tired of dealing with all of the idiot drivers on US 60 and tired of getting home so late every day. If only there were a solution to my problem. Or perhaps even a better route? I don't know, man. It's frustrating beyond belief. Again, I feel your pain, OP. Oh well...

im not sure about the traffic, but the trucks rolling out of nicholasville must be having some sort of diesel smoke contest and are awarded a fat chick depending on which class they win.

I love how the left green turn light just seemingly jumps out of nowhere for these people, waking them out of their small town stupor. Lucky if two cars get through.

OP imagine all that you experience on your daily commute - only you aren't in Kentucky - you are in the steaming pile of geographic doo-doo known as wild west Georgia.

Welcome to my life
