It is interesting how little ink college sports gets in the Trib and the Sun Times (hardest working paper in America) as well as sports talk radio. The Sun Times does a great job with high school sports. So the Cats getting an article by a feature writer is Yazza !!!!!

That might be first time this year. Pretty shocking that both the DePaul & UIC write-ups were wire stories.

Lou Canellis had lengthy coverage of the Wisconsin game last night.

The team received plenty of coverage the NCAA year. Unfortunately, the default for the local news is the pro sport team unless a local college team is winning.

I'd be totally psyched to get the second ncaa tourney invite and some more coverage from greenie on espn radio/getup. Maybe wilbon give it some love too on pti. That would get a good buzz going
