What does everyone think about Witcraft's odds at getting one of the four at large bids?

Frost will definitely get one.
Tyler Knox of Stanford will get one.
Army's Ethan Berginc will probably receive one.

I think Witcraft could snag the last one. Tyler Wells from Minnesota medical forfeited in the Big 10s and I haven't seen an update on him so that would be one less person in the mix. Matty Lopes from Lehigh is probably in contention. Kyle Waterman from Drexel has had a good year. Markel Baker from Northern Illinois, too.

Unless, I'm missing someone it seems like these four are likely the only ones up for #33.

It would be pretty cool to see Reece get one more weekend with his teammates in Philly but I think Lopes probably gets it.

Just my opinion, but I would be very surprised if he got a spot. Reese has been a great teammate throughout his time at OSU. I tip my hat to him when he cut down to nothing to go 125 in a pinch when Mastro disappeared. With all that being said he is a 6th year SR and I really expected more from him in a mostly open 133 bracket. I'm not going to say he doesn't deserve the spot, but there are more qualified, deserving guys that will be considered before him. We have got to figure out something at 133 next year and Hughes has really screwed this up with his weight management.

Would they skip over a guy to give one to Bergnic? He got 3rd and they only got one automatic bid.

Good question. I just quickly eyeballed their seasons results and such. Thought his looked better than the others. Hope to be wrong and Reece gets in.

Big 12 did well in at-large bids. Received 12 of the 48 (25%) given plus one alternate. Every weight got at least one except for 157 and 174.

Lots of talent on that list. I see multiple guys, besides the obvious ones like Frost and Trumble, who could definitely AA if given a decent draw.

You have to think splitting matches with Hughes throughout the season and the tough draw in the Big 12 caught up to him. Hate to see it.
Considering he would have lost the allocation by taking a loss to Ayala at the end of year shows he was on the bad side of the bubble. He needed to beat one of those higher seeds to get an at large.
