doesn't bringing back the "TIED GAME" make the most sense??? NO MORE OT's .... YOU COULDN'T BEAT'EM in Regulation!!!! That means something! Wouldn't that assist in determining the true top 12 performing playoff teams??? I understand that it makes your head hurt to .... THINK.... But C'mon.

FORGIVE ME!!! ,,,, I am a Catholic .... "Hail Mary" has NOTHING to do with football.

No. That's like playing for a draw in Chess. The object is WIN the game, not - not lose.

I liked ties ok, not necessarily the outcome but the strategy. It was much more like chess, to use your analogy. Coaches had to have much bigger cajones and it was more of a man’s game. Settle for the tie or go for the win and risk the loss?? It was high risk, high reward and made for some great drama.
