Just looked at his latest bracket. Most sensible one I've seen. I'm guessing his logic in moving Duke to a 2 is UVa won the ACC regular season. What I don't get is why he says Wisconsin will displace UVa yet shows both as a 1 with Duke the 2 in the East and Villanova the 1. The bracket doesn't match his words. That's not surprising for a "journalist" though.

I think if Wisconsin gets a one seed then duke will get a one seed before Virginia because duke beat wiisconsin on Wisconsin's home floor. This is just my opinion.

ND has no size and plays no defense...so no, not worried about them. I'd rather play ND in the Elite 8 than Wisconsin, UVA or Duke...which are all the alternatives since they won't let us have Gonzaga...but then again KU will luck out and beat ND if that region happened. It is the KU way...then they run out of time against UK by 20 points.

I think the prevailing opinion, well fact, is neither ND or Duke seem to give much thought and particularly effort to defense. That tends to be important in winning championships. Sometime your shots fall, sometimes they don't, but consistency and effort on defense can be a constant as it is for UK.
