The cincy game does guarantee us a share of the league championship but to get a number one seed and be sure we are not left out of the dance we need to defeat SMU. For me, I would much rather win the SMU game. However, lets not worry about any of this and win our two remaining league games and get to the conference finals and we should even be a decent seed. Probably 7 or better.

I think a co-championship can't be ignored by the Committee unless TU pulls what SMU did last year and lose to a sub 500 team in the first round. It's clear that unless Memphis can win at UConn that the Huskies will finish 5th and be in the bracket with the no. 1 seed. I'm not unhappy with a 2 seed and being on the other side of the bracket from SMU and UConn.

Still, must be Cinncy to feel safe.

Raise your hand if you knew TU would sweep the past 4 to be possibly one W from clinching an at large.

MCCane, I was pretty comfortable that TU would win the last 4 coming in to this week. This team is just good. They do it in different ways every time out whether it be grinding out in defense and scoring just enough, or getting out in transition and flat out hammering a team. Too many people went into melt mode after the UCONN loss. There were just some other things at work there that weren't in our favor. It happens. I see how we are playing now and see a re-energized team ready for the stretch. We get it done this week.

If we take care of Cincinnati we will be in. Share of the league title, and bragging rights to win it out on the line Sunday. UCONN will be the five seed it looks like, so finishing with the two seed won't be all bad.

If I had to pick one of the last two games to win I think I would lean Cincinatti since UConn looks to be in that 4/5 game in Hartford...

Good post if UCONN ends up the 5 seed. However they have games left Memphis at home and Temple on the road so not sure how we know what there seed will be at this point.

Yes memphis has 7 loses and UCONN has 6 losses and Temple has 5 loses as does Cincy. Not sure of all the tie breaker options but there is a ton of possible outcomes for the3-5 seeds. UCONN has games Memphis at home and away Temple. they could end up a 3rd, 4th or 5th seed I think. Cincy has us and Memphis at home and Temple hasECU away and
UCONN away.
