Agree. Still work to do on the defensive end of the floor, but definitely seeing progress. Wolf and Simpson playing significant minutes and contributing against good competition is HUGE going into next year.

Tough, passes well, rebounds, makes the bunnies, & looked like Magic for awhile against Michigan..
Still got my Wolf Rd. Hotel reserved for Albany too..

Something is starting to click. Playing so much better last few weeks. Crazy good athlete, fun to watch him progress. Thoughts?
Wolf is going to improve his game by leaps and bounds over the next year. Can’t wait to see.

Would he ever be a 4 and share the floor with Cliff?
He's built like an NBA 4 but more of a Center in Pike's system. Don't think he has enough offense YET to be on the floor with Cliff together. Mag is a little more versatile and can shoot, which coach likes. His 4's have all been built similarly (Eugene, Yeboah, Mag, Hyatt when Mag got hurt). Wolf can probably add another 10-15 pounds on his frame without losing his speed.

I would love for him to be on the floor WITH cliff. Rebounding would improve and give another option in the post while also being a good passer. He has great footwork and actual post moves.

While Im all for it, the problem with that would be nobody to back them up. Not sure if Pike would bring in another 5 for 2023 to backup cliff. But with Wolf, doesn't seem like that's a necessity, whereas we need a guard transfer probably.

If Wolf can put it together he will be a hard matchup for most teams. EJ Liddell had a similar build, always was an issue too
Yes but EJ Lidell had a very consistent jumper from Mid range and a bit from 3, not sure if Wolf has that. If he does, watch out

Agree completely! Right now he is backup for foul and breathers but I think he is a natural pure 4

In the Michigan game in the 2nd half, Hoard played Dickinson and Reed together. Assuming no foul trouble, I would like to see Cliff and Wolf together for a few minutes in the second half.

When he hits his first trey, fans will go insane. He’ll need to work on his form quite a bit for that to happen though. Looks like he’s only used to scoring down low and shooting over tall guys right now.

He and Hyatt should split all of Palmquist's minutes. I was really surprised Pike didn't utilize him with Cliff at the same time to neutralize Edey.

Palm being out there gives Simpson and the other guards some lanes to the paint at least. Cliff and Wolf aren’t Kevin Durant quite yet.

He has the kind of fluidity in his athleticism that makes me believe he can develop a nice touch on his outside jumper.

No doubt he has the ability. He needs to develop a purposeful grab and vertical movement when he brings it up from his waist past his torso. The trey motion starts from when the ball is at the waist. He’s used to being in traffic where you can’t do that. Steph Curry is the best all-time at consistently bringing the ball up properly.

Hyatt has played worse defense than Oskar recently and Oskar is a much better 3 point shooter so he helps space the floor for Simpson attacking

Unless Hyatt snaps out of his funk, Oskar is doing more out there. He's also hustling and doing some little things. Never forcing anything on offense
