That's where I would stay, especially when on someone else's nickel.
That is EXPENSIVE...but location by Reedy River Falls is the best downtown that you can get. I've taken my SC clients to lunch there...great food too...

Oh, yes, it's a thing. And quite a nice one. It's part of Marriott's Autograph collection of hotels, just like the Grand Bohemian Hotels in Asheville, Charlotte, Charleston, etc.
It reminds me of some of the hotels in Park City or Jackson Hole.
Nice. I love Autograph Collection hotels. Just wasn't familiar with this particular brand and the name struck me as funny sounding.
