I didn't appreciate that Delaware State's student population is 65% female. I was wondering how they could justify adding another women's sport program when they already have 12 women's sports teams and only 5 men's. I guess the gender disparity explains it. It would be nice to see some varsity men's collegiate wrestling programs in Delaware. University of Delaware cut their men's program in 1991 for cost savings.
