We needed to win one of these last three. Most of us thought it would be Michigan, but the 'Cats won the difficult one. It's that kind of season.

That was an absolutely butt ugly *** game. Both teams sucked on offense.

But NU toughed it out and got a potentially season saving win. And what’s prettier than that!

I think winning in Madison is more of a positive than losing to Michigan is a negative. Committee loves the road wins and we have 4 in conference now.

To overcome that makes this even more impressive and satisfying. If we'd done a bit better on free throws this one could've been a little easier too but Buie did his thing at the end.

In other good news, the annual 10 game losing streak is a mathematical impossibility.

Huge. UW shot under 40%! This was a MUST-WIN, too, as is the next game against duh-OSU. NU handed duh-OSU the last game by opening the game deep onto one of their cold spells and got stuck there for the first half. Couldn't even watch the rest.

The last 5 games will all be way tougher and it's likely all those teams will be in the top 25 soon.

This is a big deal. 4 road wins so far is pretty good,. 2nd best overall road record in B1G. Duke and NC have losing road records
