No need to call people out by name but some things are just dumb. There was a guy on the football board after we lost to Missouri some years back that said we lost because the refs screwed us. He said they hated us and screwed us because we were a border state in the Civil War. Let's just say for a second that was true and we are going to accept it. We lost to Missouri. Think about that for a second.

I'm half drunk right now, but lz seems like one of the most rational, level-headed posters ever. His posts in the Stock Advice thread are well-reasoned and largely spot-on. I respect his opinions. Highly, in fact.

I forget who the Ul fan was that used to spam the Lair all the time but he had one post saying the reason the the pizza pit was half empty on senior night was because they had really good bars and clubs in the stadium and people were partying and watching the game on tv.
