Worst Red Zone team ever

Have you ever seen a worse team inside the Red Zone than UK this year?

Yeah it's like their offense playbook goes out the window when there. But our defense is a joke too

The defense has played well the last 6 games, but they aren't playing well today. Red zone offenses, for those of you that are novices to football and don't understand how the game is played, is heavily dependant on a QB that can throw the football. Stephen Johnson has done a nice job at QB for UK, but he simply can't throw the ball consistantly because of his throwing mechanics. Hence the red zone issues.

Johnson has no short passing game so when we get down there it has to be run and other teams know it. They don't just load the box because we run they load it because we can't punish them for loading.

I would like to see us take our pass shot downfield when we get in that 30 yd line range before we get squeezed by the end zone. That's easier said than done because we don't have receivers making plays right now. The down side is that if you miss youre back in the same spot because you get behind the chains.

And you know this how????? You're one of those fans that probably doesn't know the difference bettween a 3 technique and cover 3.

Some of the play calls have been head scratchers regardless of how poor Stephens throwing ability is in my opinion. Doesn't take a damn expert to figure that out.

I don't agree with all of the play calls either, but we are limited inside the 10. Plain and simple.
