I am not saying he is coaching to be fired but if he were let go this season it would be a financial windfall for him. $12,000,000 goes a long way. With his past experience he will be rehired somewhere as an assistant so he will be coaching. He can blame Kentucky for his poor coaching using as an argument the history of the UK football program. After all we once fired a coach who went straight to the NFL and won a Championship. History reports him as an offense genius. But he could not win at Kentucky.
Having $12,000,000 in your pocket eases the pain of a pink slip. So firing Stoops would be doing him a financial favor. He is not getting the job done and hope is dim he will do it in the future.
Bottom line, we are screwed. Thanks Mitch
