The 1976 Peach Bowl?
I mean we are talking the damn Gator Bowl here people....1946...6th oldest bowl....New Yrs Eve...70th Ann .

I told my wife if the Cats win we could stay and ring in the New Yr on the Board Walk there or if the Cats lose we could jump off one of them big bridges ...

Either way the chance of a lifetime...

For a long time you had four major bowls, Rose, Cotton Sugar, and Orange bowl. then they started adding them gradually, but at one time The Gator Bowl was probably the fifth best bowl and is still fairly close to the top.

Lol.......it's the biggest bowl since some of these players were in the sixth grade.
Whatever bowl these guys land in.....it's quite a turnaround.

Biggest since '99 Outback Bowl, the TS (Gator) is still a step above the mid-tier bowls we have been to the last 6 times we went bowling !

I think the biggest thing I heard out of this thread is that someone is married to KWilt43atbuzz. Must be the greatest wife ever.

To me it is huge. I have wanted this one forever. It is a perfect venue for a bowl game and if you can't enjoy Jacksonville you have a problem. This is the hometown of Lynyrd Skynyrd for God's sake.

I'm just happy that after nearly a decade we are back to where we were, and maybe even slightly above. We were a program going in the right direction that completely derailed. Honestly I feel with stadium and facility improvements that are the building blocks to sustainable program growth, we are the verge of rising to new heights.
