In a heartbeat.

Almost regardless of the venue I think.

Now, if I were 72 with emphysema I would not.

Pretty simple really in my mind at least. This thing is almost exclusively killing people who are older and/or immune or compromised in some way—asthma, prone to pneumonia, etc.

Hell, at this point I’d attend a curling competition surrounded by inmates at Leavenworth.

No, only thing around here this time of year would be minor league baseball or some amateur junk and lol at risking getting this virus for that. Even if I had a zero % chance of dying from it, just the treatment could potentially be rather expensive.

Then stay home under your bed with your mask on. Sane people feel otherwise.

Sporting events would be safer for fans than a lot of other gatherings because you don't touch anything really. I'm a maybe because I still want distancing.

I’m prone to pneumonia and used to get hospitalized almost every year (length of stay was between two weeks and three months) when I was a child, or I would get it after surgery. I got the shots a few years ago. Yes, I would go if the price was right.

At the moment? No. Hell, there's nothing to attend anyway. In the fall, if there is high school football and they allow fans, I will attend, because with a few exceptions, it's easy to social distance at high school games in Florida. I might also go to a Fins game if fans are allowed. It's easy to social distance at their games too.

I'm not planning on attending any college games, but that's not a big deal for me because I quit going to games when the SEC Network started up and UK was on TV every week. It was too much hassle when I lived in TN and it was basically a 12-16 hour day for me to attend a game at UK, and is obviously out of the question now. The home viewing experience has gotten so good that I really have no desire to go anymore. No traffic, no parking, no dumb *** sitting close to me who keeps yelling to THROW IT LOOONG!!!!! At home, I can tailgate without having to load the truck up, unload, then load it back up and unload it again at home. I can fix what I want to eat and have as much to drink as I want without worrying about getting a PI or DUI. I have a comfortable recliner and a bathroom with no waiting just steps from that recliner. I can also watch other games before and after our game that I'd otherwise miss.

Hell yes. Poll results are interesting. Dems are playing their hands wrong. They thought the public would buy into this health scare and society shut down. In the short term people would support. People are now seeing the govt overreach and disregard for economy, peoples economics, and their freedom. This will backfire on dems in November. Hopefully will start focusing hard on this Dem overreach and emphasize getting economy going and Dems taking individual rights away. Between this and the FBI scandal being exposed this summer, will be an awesome election in the Fall.

No one asked for a politically motivated response. There’s plenty of other threads for that crap.

Yes, I would. Especially outdoors. But I’m also the wrong person to ask. My kids are small and I just don’t make it to many games anymore...maybe one a season. TV just makes it too easy.

Most definitely. And no damned masks

The mask is an important symbol of domination and tyranny in more than one way:

- The symbol of your expressionlessness. Your lips can't be seen and your voice is muffled when speaking behind a mask. You can't smile or frown or anything. It symbolizes the removal of free speech. It symbolizes the dehumanization of the human voice and expression.

- The symbol of your asphyxiation. Your can't breathe well and your breaths become shallow. You are being robbed of the very air you need. It symbolizes the dehumanization of your physical body.

- The symbol of your subjugation. You are conquered as someone who dons the mask, as it is a sign of their success in fooling you, convincing it is both good and required. It symbolizes the loss/dehumanization of your mind.

- The symbol of your imprisonment. You are denied service or entry if you do not wear the mask. It symbolizes the dehumanization of your basic freedoms of association, travel, and social interaction.

No. I thought I explained that in my original response. If high school football opened this weekend and they allowed fans, I would go. For the sake of argument, if didn't mind the hassle of attending UK games, the answer at this moment would still be no. I'm 60, and have an underlying health condition that while well managed, still falls into the category that would make me a bigger risk. I'm not stupid. Ask me again in September, and I might have a different answer, but it will probably still be no.

My bad I took the initial reply as you wouldn’t because there is nothing to attend

Very well presented. I couldn't agree more.

Thank you X1000. I am so F-ing tired of every single topic turning into "The Dems are trying to screw Trump" that I literally am about to throw up on my keyboard.

my concern is the "I'm low risk so screw everyone else" attitudes

I'm not sure I want to be in the middle of that crowd at a sporting event.

How good did you feel being around them during flu season before all this? Many people will come from the doctors office finding out they are flu positive and go right to the store or to get something to eat

I was on a tour bus at a corporate event last January. One guy had the flu and went on the tour anyways, 27 people on the bus 9 of them were out of work (well 2 were school age ) with the flu the following week including me.

so how do I feel? like I don't want to be around people who say screw everyone else.

oh..and the flu vaccine didn't work worth a s#*!

Lol.

Personally, I like the masks because it prevents the secret facial-recognition cameras that Obama installed across the country from tracking me.

Maybe if anything good comes from this people will take things like that more serious

agree with you on flu shot. I never take one and don’t plan on starting now.
