Wouldn't it make more since for Maryland to be our #2

Everything would add up, they are the worse 2 seed, they would stay closer to home then going out west, if Duke and Virgina get a 1 seed, why would they put another team from the same conference in that bracket as the top 2 seeds?

Midwest
UK #1 - Maryland #2

East
Duke #1 - Wisconsin #2

South
Virgina #1 - Villanova #2

West
Arizona #1 - Gonzaga #2

Not if they're a 3 seed which they likely are. Perhaps if Baylor beats KU today, and Maryland wins the B10T, but even then I'm not convinced. With all the love for the B12 it's KU's to lose. Gonzaga is an absolute lock as are whichever 2 of the top 6 don't get a 1 seed. I do think UK/KU in the Midwest would be a logical, and fair matchup.

Spelling felonies aside, since ( I swear that was inadvertent) when does sensibility have anything to do with what the NCAA does? Top 2 seed gets to stay closest to home -- sorry Wisconsin, welcome to Cleveland.

And Maryland's not in the ACC any more, same conference as Wisconsin.
