The alarming part of this tweet? This was retweeted, TWICE, by Kuran Iverson. This adds to the list now of around 6 of Pastners players players tweeting smack to their coach, Josh Pastner. I've really never seen anything like it.

I have to admit, no thanks on him being an assistant here when Memphis can finally afford to dump him off. He's ruining his image at memphis.




And this guy is paid top 10 money in all of the ncaa. According to some reports, he makes more than ** Roy Williams.

My gosh, Barton called him out 3 year ago. Robert Sallie made fun of him in a tweet. Wesley Witherspoon tweeted similar things. Tarik Black and Joe Jackson sounded off a little about last year. Carmouche had to sit because of some of the same issues.

This is something that's been recurring over the last few years.

And that big guy they used to have I forget his name. He went off on Pastner on Twitter.

Ok well I Kuran is being sat and people here in Memphis are saying he's gonna transfer now.

This is a recurring theme with this bunch. Pastner has no cred.

Don is this the part where I say "you cared enough to post in the thread;)"

There are a few of us from memphis, it's Cals old school, and their fans blast us repeatedly. It's college basketball and I've never heard players to off on a coach like that. It's unbelievabke actually. Pastner is also a top 10 paid coach in the profession, and was almost our assistant.

I figured it had a place on a board with threads like

Sorry. I probably should not have posted that. My bad. Just quoting Monte Walsh. I'll edit my smartash remark if you want me to. I know a guy (35 year friend) from Memphis (I used to live there), and he just hates Coach Cal for leaving Memphis.

Naw UR good don I was joking. I know some of the guys on here don't know much about Memphis and how their fans are. If they did they would love hearing this.

Memphis fans hate UK like louisville fans do, I promise it's true even though it's hard to believe. The butt-hurt is ever so strong with this crowd.

But I totally get it if guys from the Kentuxky area don't get it or don't care.

Kinda feel bad for Memphis, first they lost Cal to UK, then the Rose stuff happened to them and to top it off they have been trolled by Pastner(for 6 seasons?). I just hope when Cal retires from UK in 10-15 years(yes I said that) that we have better luck replacing him and moving on.

You have the Western Channel don' you Don. We watched Monte Walsh a couple of weeks ago. I had not seen it. Pretty good. Western junkie here. They just started showing Death Valley Days.

Oh, Pastner is not very good. He doesn't command respect nor credibility from his players.

Oh bro, do not feel bad for Memphis. And "move on" is not in their vocabulary. They actually believe Cal owes them.

Seriously I wish some of you guys that deal with Louisville fans could just see how insane memphis fans really are. They think they are a top 10 basketball school. They think they have a fan base to match UK. Right now they are discussing whether or not they are a blue blood. I'm dead serious.

At least louisville actually understands what UK is and has some success themselves. Memphis fans believe they are on par with the best. It's the biggest delusional fan base in America. And that's why I love all the turmoil hat continues under Josh pastner. The "anti cal" as they call him. The alternative to "x" as they call cal.

And yes they all want Bruce Pearl. And that's hilarious as they bashed him repeatedly for so many years. Pearl could likely end up there because the money would be right. The only thing is though, that Pearl loves the Spotlight. The AAC is a mid major league and is rarely seen nationally. That could be a problem for them.

Regardless of how good or bad Pastner is, if any player ever trashed Cal like (supposedly) some of his players have done, I would hope Cal asks for their uniforms. Just too damaging for any team to have the players trash the coach, like in kind to Adam Chiles and Rashaad Carruth and Tubby.

He's had around 8 to 10 guys trash him in one form or another since his arrival. Cals former players really hate him.

As anyone can see, that's Kuran iversons Twitter accound. What do you think he meant by "coach coukdnt handle it?" Why do you think he retweeted that post two times and removed it? Why do you think he's now suspended indefinitely?

Yet it's just all "supposedly". Ridiculous standard some of you need to believe something.

What's also funny is Shaq goodwins mother just posted on her facebook "wish he would have stuck with football". I've never seen a coach lose control of a team this fast. Memphis is the wrong environment for Pastner.

I bet when you add in Roy's bonuses for academic performance that he comes out on top. LOL!

The tale of JP sure has been a curious one though. A golden opportunity that just hasn't panned out. I also seem to remember a little hand wringing on here when he didn't come with Cal ,about how it may affect our recruiting, etc. LOL!

They are probably just jealous of his hair.

Guy is a fraud, though. A wannabe slick feller who is obviously not genuine.

Cal is the slickest feller in the game, AND he's genuine. Tough combo. You don't really need x's & o's when you have the best players who are willing to fight for you.
