This team is impressive. I’ve been very critical of King, and it’s still a loooong season. But I’ll be damned if this team doesn’t remind me of those 2000s Omaha teams we had. Having said that it may be time to find another Friday starter.

Hell yeah! This is how we started our sweep last weekend. Wasn’t looking good and then…BAM! These are the signs of good teams. Finding a way to win. I admit..I had turned the game off at 8-5.

Agree on the Friday starter, Sanders throws too many many pitches up and over the heart of the plate. With the walks it spells trouble!

They made up for the horrible announcing by having crappy graphics. I never knew the pitch count, score or how many runners were on base.
I thought it was just me….. And that was a SECN broadcast?!? Yeesh…

Sanders was definitely struggling, but in his defense, that umps strike zone last night was awful. I was sitting behind home plate. He made every pitcher look bad. Wouldn’t call a strike.

temporarily at least until he works out whatever is going on. Maybe out Hall in on Friday, Mahoney Saturday and then perhaps do what the Rays started working with RP's. I think we have enough of them and do that Sunday. JMO

I hear ya. Tough call tho. I dont believe I'd tinker with Saturday or Sunday at this point but that's me. Kind of l iike leave well enough alone. Maybe shorten the leash on Sanders. For the most part, the bullpen is looking good.
Friday starts arent easy. Not everyone can do it. I'd go in with the plan to use Sanders through the lineup once. If he's looking good, extend his innings.
If none of that works, look to a rotation change. I see a rotation change as a last resort and imo we ain't there yet.

Any word on the status of Will McGillis? Was at the game and you could tell he was in some serious pain and discomfort. Losing him would be a big blow to our lineup.

That was one heck of a ninth inning. We were extremely fortunate to win to say the least, but we'll certainly take it.

Another lesson to those of us who make judgements before the fat lady sings. Great comeback. This stuff has the making of a possible magical year. So far. So good. Keep it up.

He gave up 4 against clemsux/UGA, and 5 against Mizzu.
