I guess Bucky will have to change his trash talking troll ****.

2 years in a row with 6 wins and a shot to get a 7th.

If we can just get 4 more teams to leave the Big 12, we might have a chance to win the league next year!
If we have a consistent QB that doesnt make absolutely boneheaded game losing mistakes at critical moments, our OL should be much better next year, as they have shown to make steady improvement all season this year, which is a good sign of progress with a young OL.

If we can plug a few holes via portal, we could very well be in a position to seriously compete for Big12 Championship spot next season. Lots of variables obviously, but considering how close we were to winning a few of those losses, and how+why we lost them, if we just eliminate those mistakes and make the usual offseason progress, we could finally start to see the fruit forming on the vine next year.

Lol people happy at 6 wins. Typical Nehlein fanatics that are used to being mediocre.
You claimed earlier this year that they would finish 2-10 or 3-9 at best. They went 6-6 and it pisses you off.

Dana lost to KU his 3rd season.

The portal is like creating holes and filling them too. Impossible to know if more will be created than filled. Impossible to know if we trade up or not on the holes filled. Just guessing, but many blue bloods could purge some guys to qualify for 32 schollys allowing them added ability to flip recruits or poach rosters. I’m hoping our guys are happy with their situations and are getting paid decent NIL $$ and we keep a good nucleus. The days of being fairly sure who our starters will be next year walked out the door with Dreshun Miller and Oscar Tshiebwe.

Starting a thread about someone who doesnt agree with your opinion of where WVU should be as a football program is pretty wow lol. Are you a teenage girl by chance? Is this your "week"?

I dont disagree with this, but its all talk until we see it on the field. We havent been able to eliminate mistakes under Brown so far. We beat ourselves more than we get beat. I think thats what is so frustrating about his teams in his time here so far. Doege is obviously mistake prone, as good as he can be sometimes, but its more than him. Brown continues to make head scratching decisions that leave people like wtf was that almost every game, and I dont see that ending any time soon. I was huge on Brown when we hired him, but he has a mountain to climb at this point. Finishing .500 in regular season aint going to get it done. Not after investing so much money into the program. I'm glad we avoided a losing season, but my expectations of this program are higher than what he has produced in his 3 years and for good reason. Some folks on here can call me all the names they want, and I will still expect better than .500 for WVU. Hopefully Brown turns it around.

And Stewart came to within a Tron Martinez fumble of losing to Marshall in year 3

That's why I was glad when Stewart was replaced by Dana as well as when Dana was replaced by Brown. I was not glad about the replacements themselves, just that WVU was moving on from a coach and staff that obviously did not have what it takes to win a conference championship. That's the problem with so many people on this board, just because the replacement isn't as good or even worse than the coach that was replaced, it does not mean staying stagnant with the old coach was the right move.

I think Bucky is an imbecile as much as the next guy, but this season doesn't cut against his anti-Brown sentiment. WVU won a glorified scrimmage. WVU was lucky to beat a 6-6 VT team. WVU was in very competitive games with bad 5-7 Texas and 2-9 Kansas. Only bad team WVU beat by more than 1 score was 5-7 TCU. Literally beating 7-5 ISU and playing to within 3 of OU in a loss on the road were the only good games to point to this season.

Like I've said before this team could have been 2-10 or 10-2.

But really they were inconsistent every game. Heck every drive for that matter. They would look like a top team on one drive and the next two drives look like they've never played before.

Given enough time Doege was sufficient but not a world beater. Greene was not that good probably should switch to slot receiver.

I was surprised we were able to dominate the run game against Kansas as they have had issues all season. But Leddie still got over 1,000 yards for second season in a row.

Next year still no known quality QB. Things probably not much better if at all. Neal Brown will need to get this team up to par or it could be his last. I'll be surprised if he does because he hasn't shown it to this date.

Probably get embarrassed in the bowl game especially if we play somebody that has played against good competition.

Bucky doesn't have opinions. But go ahead and cry like a little ***** over WVU finishing 6-6 instead of 3-9 like you wanted.
