I have never been happier to be this wrong in my life. I didn't see the SEC style defense allowing any of its teams to score a 100 or more in conference play. Well hell, the SEC comes right out of the gate with two of its best teams scoring a 100+ against each other. WOW!!!!!!! Kentucky played their asses off today and from what little of the game that my heart would allow me to watch (I only flip to and away from the game to check the score) Williams played big boy ball today.

Heck, we played AWESOME on the offensive end and decent on defense and STILL gave up 100 because of the HORRIBLE SEC Refs giving UF TWICE as many FT's and we gave up too many offensive rebounds.

This team just needs to keep working on toughness and they have a real shot at something special!!

HUGE win today against a great team!!!

UK and Florida both played their best version of basketball, and UK was a two possession winner.

We have the pieces to go deep in the tournament. Three top ten wins. No other team in America can boast that.

Pope and his guys have responded after that Ohio State drubbing.

It feels good to be in the BBN this season.

I didn’t think of this earlier, but with the way these refs called the game, these Cats should have no problem playing on the road in the SEC.

Getting a road whistle at home is great preparation.😡

Rebounding and free throws were things that could have cost us this game, but we were so efficient on offense it didn’t. I really think Golden thought they were going to come in to Rupp and win, no matter what. He just couldn’t believe a team thrown together a few weeks before the season started could beat his team today. They played about as well as they could and still lost,

The Cats did what they needed to do which is defend your home court because there are not going to be any easy road games.

A lot of Florida’s points were second or third chance points. A lot of their makes were actually well defended hand in the face or turn around fade away mid range. Some of their points were free throws off of phantom fouls. We need to, and we will, get better on the defensive glass. Our actual defense was pretty good.

Cut out some of the offensive rebounds by Florida and uk has a double digit win and I have some finger nails left

I am trying to settle down enough so that I can watch the game. I saw less than 7 minutes of play.

When this team is hitting on all cylinders, they can beat absolutely anyone in the nation. I don’t know if they’ll be able to do it six games in a row, but dang if it isn’t gonna be fun watching them try.

SEC officials were SEC officials.

Bad both ways. Just their normal game.

We fouled them more than they fouled us. We fouled them almost everytime they got an offensive rebound.

Stop giving up so many so many offensive rebounds and we cut down on fouls too.

But we won!!🏀

That’s the most important stat.

Road games are going to be a WAR. Heck home games will be a WAR.
5 or 6 conference losses could very well win the conference.
Kentucky must shoot the 3 well.

Florida I believe was number 2 in the nation in OFF. Rebounds. So I don't expect UK to get killed on the boards every game. Florida is really good.

One thing with efficiency is lack of turnovers.

25 assists to 6 turnovers

I'm hoping that the CATS just had some holiday rust that needed to be cleaned off because todays team was much better than the last couple of weeks.

Pope vs Golden matchups will be awesome. Akin to Pitino and Donovan? Golden is a Bruce Pearl product, though. Gonna be fun to see these games in the future.

If they're smart, UNC cans Hubert Davis at season's end and makes a real effort to bring in Golden.

It would be bad for BBN, but it would be a great thing for Carolina nation.

Golden is not even 40 years old yet.
