Family member got fired and IMO it was total bullcrap.
No warnings, no guidance in relationship to the reason given that caused the termination, and possible retaliation regarding another completely different topic.

Anybody have experience and can recommend a good employment lawyer?
TIA

KY is a no cause state. No reason needed. Simply "We are heading in a different direction" is the standard line used.

Sounds like a non-compete is being enforced? Anyway, sorry to hear it. The lawyers will go into it knowing they'll likely lose but won't tell them and will cash in.

The sad thing is, it would honest to god probably work IF they were to say they were transitioning before they were fired. No surprise at our work we have a trans person who has been on a PIP for two years and we still cant get rid of "it". Literally easier to let them go to the amusement park all day (yep, that happened and they got caught) then deal with the backlash of firing them..

Oh this ******* guy haha. This place was doing so well without the rupp Rafters hall monitor.
One cool thing about the new site is the mods have made it pretty clear to keep all political issues in one thread, which is a thread you likely frequent daily. It's a lack of self control on your part. You know the rules but you can't handle them. I can't imagine what it's like to continually focus on and bash specific groups of strangers. You don't like them yet you're obsessed with them. Odd behavior imo.

Eh, your posts say more about you than anything. Randomly complaining about trans people or whining that you see black people and Muslims occasionally working out at the gym you go (an actual post by you) are personal issues you're having. You seem uncomfortable in life. Hope everything works out for ya!

You follow me relentlessly, I should charge a fee. Hope everything works out for you, too!
