Nice reminder! Those were the days. Being ranked used to be super fun. We used to be ranked nearly every year. However, this season we are predicted to finish nearly last in the new weaker B12. It sad how fast things can go down when you have a terrible coach.

I used to love looking to see how far we moved up in the polls. I can’t remember the last time I even thought about looking.

Is the Big 12 really weaker? Texas has sucked since end of 2009 and hired 3 different coaches since 2012. OU was bad last year but has won 7 Big 12 titles since WVU entered in 2012. I don't see a drop off with Texas leaving. OU probably.

That is actually a good point. Texas hasnt done much since 2009 or so.

SO, I read into your comment that you have been losing your cognitive abilities. Memory loss and a lack of interest in the recent past is something many aging folks have to deal with. Hopefully you have others around you who have not slid as far into dementia and can server you, as required, to allow an acceptable level of human interaction.
