After watching 1st 4 teams playing in Charleston Classic I haven't seen a team that WVU can't beat with its "A" game. Fierce defense by WVU should work well against teams that don't seem that streamlined and organized. We'll see. I hope I can stay awake for Elon game which might run till midnight.

Watch out for Marquette by March Madness time. TEN of its 15 are FRESHMEN! Clemson really came on strong as the game progressed. But, most important, WVU vs. Elon in the last of the 4 first round games. Can't wait!

Only hot hand with 3's kept Elon from early blowout. Fierce defense and double-teaming will take a toll on Elon in the 2nd half. I see a rout. Marquette with its TEN freshmen will be beatable tomorrow but a tough nut to crack with all that experience by March Madness.

Glad we play Marquette's 10 freshmen this week. They'll be REALLY tough by March Madness with a full season under their belts!
Shaka will keep them from getting TOO good.

A fluke run to the FF ten years ago, he becomes a White House favorite, is touted as a one of the best coaches in America, gets a gig coaching the richest athletic department, has 5* recruits gift-wrapped for him thanks to his media-created celebrity, and proceeds to need six seasons plus postseasons to clock two 20 win years.

And people still act like he's an amalgamation of Bobby Knight and Brad Stevens.

Shaka is a good coach early in the year. Then conference play will come when he crumbles and under achieves.

Huggins' post-game presser sounded like the losing coach talking. I know he demands more and more, which is what made him one of America's best coaches ever, but I saw more good than Huggins saw in his press conference. But, hey, if he can do better than Bobby Knight, who am I to question Huggy Bear, the best coach in WVU history (Fred Schaus is a CLOSE second).
