Why is it that these ESPN commentators automatically believe that Buffalo will beat WVU? SUre they have a good inside post guy, but other than that, most are banking on the "5-12" seed curse to justify WVU losing. I heard one of them a few minutes ago saying that Buffalo will have no problem breaking WVU's press, but they likely won't make it past the field of 32. What is WVU????.....chopped liver? Prior to the tourney I heard lots of accolades about "Press Virgibnia".........

Our best player is hurt, they have a Hurley coaching them, we play ugly... whats not to like from a neutral observer?

Honestly the more I read the less I like as a WVU fan, but assuming Staten and Browne are back I think we can wear them down.

It's just fluff, drum beating and drama...... some dumbass mentioned to Huggins yesterday during an interview what Gottlieb had said, and in typical Huggins' style and modus operandi he responded, "That's who you should listen to."

Not sure how Buffalo deals with the Mountaineer bigs if Justin Moss is still hobbled by a sore ankle. He is the MAC Player of the Year and a guy they count on for double-doubles in scoring and rebounding.

Re: Buffalo's best player is hurt, too

Moss played 36 minutes and had a double double in the MAC final, he now has a week to rest, he will be fine, the bigger question is how Staten and Browne bounce back without a game to get their feet wet post-injury

Golly! Maybe we should stay away from Columbus this Friday...

or hightail it back to Motown before the game. There are more idiots at espn than any network. Who cares what they think? I'll take the eers over tatonka any day.

I'm not sure why people are getting so worked up about, 'WVU disrespect'. Ever hear... "Any publicity is good publicity" ??

I mean, we're getting additional coverage that's both advertising OUR PROGRAM AS A 5 SEED and MAKING THE GENERAL PUBLIC MORE INTERESTED in OUR game....a game they most likely wouldn't be giving a second thought (about watching). Plus, once we EASILY win this game we get to enjoy the 'in your face' factor.

--------------

Can't we concentrate on the really big issue ??

"I don't care what they say about me as long as they spell my name right."

Enough with the UWV....enough with the 'neers..... ....and quit acting like our mascot has more kills than Luis Garavito.
