Purdue is #1. WVU was 4 points down to Purdue with 5 minutes left in game before losing by 12.
WVU will be facing #4 Kansas, #6 Texas, #12 Baylor, #18 TCU TWICE and #20 Auburn once. Mountaineers lost to #22 Xavier by 12 points.
That means Huggins has SEVEN of other 24 Top 25 teams on its schedule and will play ELEVEN games against them.
Awesome schedule and great preparation for March Madness. If WVU ran run this gauntlet with more W’s than L’s then a shot at the national title is not an irrational hope.

Mountaineers are projected to make March Madness by every selection group! Average predicted seedings are #3 to #10 with a #5.47 average, which puts WVU into the Top 25 in March Madness. Remember, there are 4 of every seed – 4 #1’s, 4 #2’s, etc.
Long way to go but the 9 college transfer talents might just surprise a few along the way.
Big 12 standings will be interesting, with conference games beginning New Year’s Eve with all 10 teams in the 5 games.

It’s going to be one helluva barroom fight in the Big 12 which will toughen up the survivors for March Madness.
The New Year’s Eve bareknuckle matchups which will have one game at noon and 3 simultaneously at 2 pm, giving Big 12 fans a breather for about an hour before WVU and Kansas State wrap it up with a 7 pm tipoff. TV ratings should be going through the roof!

SO 2 PM TIPOFF GAMES SHOULD END BY 6:30 (NEVER TIP OFF AT 2 BECAUSE THEY GIVE UP TO 15 MINUTES FOR ANNOUNCERS TO BLABBER AND COMMERCIALS TO RUN). SINCE WVU GAME IS 7 PM MY STATEMENT IS CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE TRUTH TO NOT GET A SMART-*** RESPONSE FROM YOU. 30 MINUTES AND YOU WANT TO FIND A "MISTAKE"? GO PICK ON KIDS WALKING ON YOUR LAWN!
