Beetle out? I wouldn’t play him so he can be full go 100% by Big 12 tourney. No set backs. If Sags comes back him and Beetle would make us a dangerous team in that tourney. Get the automatic bid. Sags isn’t staying 2 more years so no need to medical redshirt him. Big 12 tourney is a month away. He should be 100% soon before that.
Hopefully Knapper gets lots of minutes and continues to build confidence. He has a good future here with 3 more long years left.

While this may seem counterintuitive, is there any way we see "Press Virginia" now that we will probably be using more guards? We have struggled to score consistently in the half-court set.
First off, I do NOT think we have a chance today. But as luck would have it~ this team with no chance at getting out of last place and all the past "good" teams we've had, we might win at the Phog today.

For a game I dont expect us to win, I'm pretty excited to see it unfold. I got off the Esa bandwagon when he came back last year. Harris has always been like meh to me. Addition by subtraction losing these clowns. Bring on the youngsters.
I told the board last summer to kick off sucky Wes Harris. He wasn’t worth the trouble. He’s a D2 player. Esa is slow. He tried more than people think but just isn’t very good. He’s slow, unathletic. Esa is a low D1 at best player and borderline D2.
Dotson abusing McCabes embarrassing defense. Why is Haley, Harler playing over Teavon Horton? Doomes is aweful but Horton deserves to stay in game. He plays defense. He missed his one shot but isn’t getting a chance all year. Horton has been robbed, screwed over. He’s much better than the guards playing over him.
Please stop with the Doomes needs to start or play. Doomes is a D2 guard at best. Huggs can’t recruit guards.

Just get thru this season. Only one moron thought it would be a big season. Everyone else was realistic in expectations knowing that we lost 2 very important positions.
Off topic,but did you graduate from Stonewall in '77? A good friend of mine, Barry Woolridge, graduated from Stonewall about that time. He was one of that bunch that worked at Budget in the late 70's. Barry is great guy. He's getting over a brain tumor and the loss of his wife.
The guy who writes the "When Bad Things Happen To Good People" books could get a couple of volumes out of Barry's life for the past 3/4's of a decade.

McCabe played a good game. McCabe wasn't guarding Dotson. Horton blows. Horton doesn't know what a basketball looks like much less play. McCabe better than Knapper dribble and fall down crap.
