The stats they should show all the time for Trae Young are:

1. Forced shots
2. Frustrated statues (aka teammates)
3. Turnovers

I made the remark in another thread that the ESPN coverage would make you want to puke.

They ran his stat line above the score in another game last weekend.

The bottom line is he had six turnovers and one assist.

Sure he had 32 points but he also took almost 40 percent (20 of the 56) of all of the Sooner shots.

Our shooting still needs a lot of work but think about this....we went five minutes without scoring to start the second half and still beat the Sooners on the road.

I could be wrong, but Carter and our defense is in this kid's head. I would love to meet Oklahoma in the Big XIII Tournament. I don't think they can beat us.

Guarantee they go further in the tournament because of him than we do. If I had a star player, who cares how much press he gets. Brings eyes to his draft stock and to the team. When’s the last time we had a player like that?

Still being a doubter I see? You take Trae Young and Oklahoma, I'll stick with Huggs and the Mountaineers.
