That's just FREAKIN' OUTSTANDING........ I was concerned after yesterday's sub-par performance in smallbore.

Talk about some drama and this team showing some Mountaineer Grit. Can't wait to read how this came about, must have been quite a performance today......

Congratulations to the team.

I agree. I always thought rifle and archery were 2 of the coolest sports out there. They do not compare to the popularity of the big sports like football, basketball, etc but I think they are just as fun, if not more fun to participate in. And it's a skillset that is much needed in real life. Perhaps not as much now compared to decades and centuries ago but there are still plenty of people around the world who live off the land. Rifles and bows have been used as a way of life for centuries especially the bow for hunting food, defending yourself, etc.

I always thought paintball would be a bigger sport or at least a college sport. The skill level and marksmanship doesn't compare to that of rifle, archery, etc but it's a really fun sport to play with friends. Seems like there are tons of competition but I guess not at the collegiate level. Great adrenaline rush though.

It might help if they didn't shoot at 8 am

I never understood why they never moved the time to something around prime time and promoted it a little more. How many people would bother going to see a rifle match at 8 in the morning?

You can't really 'see' a rifle match.... ..at least not without some major TV coverage.

Plus, if a tourney basketball game can start at 11:30 a.m. (local) then a rifle match can EASILY start early in the morning.

.....you know....because there's a better chance people hunted early in the morning and all...so it's traditional....

My reply was very accurate and on topic.

However, the quoted one you typed shows that you are truly the ignorant person. ....and why all the attempts to fool V with the coded words (attempting not to break forum rules) ? Do you think he's an idiot and doesn't get it ?

Why 'carry on'....? I don't have a problem with him.

You know, I take a lot of crap....but have you ever seen me ATTACK another poster with a PERSONAL INSULT ?? No...you have not.

While it's not the easy way out....isn't proving your opinion better than childish (7th grade to maybe 11th) insults ??

Yes you do (take some abuse)...sometimes deserved as do I...however I respect your opinion from time to time (as I do Paps)...and thus why I enjoy a good debate and say carry on...unfortunately I have nothing to add on this particular topic...I really get no sense this one is personal...so....
