But I always heard that Kneel Brown was an offensive geniusBill had a much easier schedule and inherited a much better talent, but It is looking more and more like Neal isn’t the answer.
I would rather attempt to climb higher. Unfortunately I didn't know Brown and Doege were scared of heights. We tried to warn you early in the season before you climbed too high and have a much longer fall.
I don't know who Kneel Brown is. But I have never heard anyone call Neal Brown an offensive genius. But I always heard that Kneel Brown was an offensive genius
I’m not defending Brown I think he needs to go. It’s just the Bill Stewart fired for only winning 9 games is misleading. But I always heard that Kneel Brown was an offensive genius
somewhere, Bill Stewart i laughing his *** off. Got fired because he couldn't win more than nine per season.
Only time WVU football gets mentioned anymore is when people talk about how good the RR teams were in the NCAA College video games.RR had WVU on an upward trajectory. Stewart had WVU slowly going downward. His tenure was a like loose threat. It barely held on, but it dangerously close to falling apart. Had he stayed, I believe the ship would have sailed into the port. DH was stagnant at best. kneel is very likely the same as Stewart.
Under Stewart, WVU's name lost the cache that it gained under RR. Dana, for all his faults, brought the WVU name back, at least a little. Grier and Sills started Horns Down and "let's go win the fvkcing game" gave some swagger back to WVU.
So far, kneel has all the worst of Stewart and Dana and none of the good. WVU is quickly losing its name recognition under his reign. For God's sake, remember when WVU was actually a topic of conversation on ESPN? WVU used to get more talk and coverage than Wisconsin, now we're Georgia Tech.
This is such a terrible take. 9 wins in the BE is not 9 wins in the B12.somewhere, Bill Stewart i laughing his *** off. Got fired because he couldn't win more than nine per season.
I think it's more like saying we had 9 wins in the Big East, and are struggling to win 5-6 in the Big 12. That's a problem. This is such a terrible take. 9 wins in the BE is not 9 wins in the B12.
How many you think he wins in Big 12? I'm thinking 1 or 2 a season.somewhere, Bill Stewart i laughing his *** off. Got fired because he couldn't win more than nine per season.
Yet he ran like a ***** and became a failure at Michigan and ruined their egos. Then Arizona and failed some more.Only time WVU football gets mentioned anymore is when people talk about how good the RR teams were in the NCAA College video games.
Spoken like a young man that didn't start watching football until 2000.RR had WVU on an upward trajectory. Stewart had WVU slowly going downward. His tenure was a like loose threat. It is, but acting like we would have been equipped to transition into the Big XII with Stewart because he averaged 9 wins per season is so unbelievably short sighted, but some people love to be “that guy” so I’m not surprised I keep seeing people taking this stance.I think it's more like saying we had 9 wins in the Big East, and are struggling to win 5-6 in the Big 12. That's a problem.
I haven't had the feeling that anything would be fixed since the RR days.I'm always astounded how many people don't get sarcasm, but comparing Brown to Stewart isn't as far-fetched as many think. I'm sure many of us who have been follwing WVU football for decades get that same sinking feeling on game day now that we did when Stew coached (or Cignetti), but the comments comparing the Big East to the Big 12 are valid. The problem with this team isn't that the direction is up or down, but that the team has no direction. Really, how many of you have any confidence that Brown will try to fix anything before the next game, or the next, or the next?
You nailed it. wvu is a litte bit of everything ...and none of it outstanding. Bland like Kneel. No direction ... and no identity. Three years in to the Brown era and we still have no identity other than a we're a sinking ship. A rudderless sinking ship.
43-35 and a Fiesta Bowl at Arizona is failing? ArizonaYet he ran like a ***** and became a failure at Michigan and ruined their egos. Then Arizona and failed some more.
