There’s great irony with the two players out with injuries today; one has the heart of a lion and the other has a glass jaw.

Brandon Knapper stepping up. Knapper is much better than McCabe. Knapper needs to be the starter the rest of year and let him work through inexperience, rusty stuff. Knapper has potential. He's way more athletic than McCabe.
McCabe played 32 minutes last game and had 2 points and 3 assists. He’s played today and his defense is horrible like always. McCabe also has 0 points and 0 assists with 3 turnovers. Knapper replaces him and scores 10 points 3 assists, 2 steals and 0 turnovers. Knapper is a way better defender as well.

Knapper is more athletic and quicker, faster than McCabe. That gives him more upside and higher potential. Knapper is only a freshmen and has many good years ahead plus he’s a WV boy.
WVUALLEN your ok sometimes. I just needs to get you consistent bud! I know your coming back in freak out mode. You hate the WV boys which is sad and pathetic. You should be 100% behind Knapper. He’s from your home county. He’s also a solid player. He’s going to help us here. Just needs confidence and better coaching.
Knapper showed with 15 points against Baylor 2 weeks ago and 25 points today against Oklahoma that he is the guy that needs to stick around for years to come. Huggs needs to stop pricking him and give him the longer leash. Knapper is good. He just needs confidence and a smarter coach to bring that out. We need Knapper. He’s going to be good here. He’s only a freshman.

That was just one heluva game from Knapper. If there can be consistent production from the guard position this might actually turn into a team. Turnovers were much improved and some nice assists from Culver. Everybody plays better when you get a performance like that from a guard. Had to watch this one on DVR late last night and I may watch it again so I can focus on things away from the miracle at point guard. He played like a veteran yesterday.
That’s because Knapper is a good top WV recruit at guard. He has the high ability but Huggs coaching screwed him over. Huggs is now forced to play Knapper over everyone else cause he’s way more talented.

Two good games against Oklahoma and Jacksonville State. The other games Knapper was a turnover machine and couldn't throw a basketball in the ocean. Doomes continues to score the most in the least amount of time played. Would love to see him get 4-5 minutes a game at the 2.
What Knapper scored 15 in 2nd half alone vs Baylor 2 weeks ago. He almost brought us back by himself. He scores 25 points vs Oklahoma Saturday. He’s going to be very good here.

Knapper has zero turnovers. The rest of the team has 10 turnovers each and no defense. Huggs screwing Knapper again. The players can’t stand Huggs.
WVUallen why would McCabe or any of these guys want to play for this old washed up bozo? McCabe better get out of here and go play for someone that doesn’t care about defense. He will ruin his own career by staying here playing for Huggs. It’s not a good fit. He’s not only one either. Several should transfer.
