MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (May 25, 2024) – West Virginia University golfer Max Green has been named to the Division I PING All-Midwest Region Team, announced this weekend by the Golf Coaches Association of America.



Green is the third player in school history named to the PING All-Midwest Region Team. Mark Goetz in 2021 and Matthew Sharpstene in 2019 earned those same honors.



Entering the NCAA Golf Championships, Green holds the WVU school record for season average at 70.39. The junior from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, won the Red Bandanna Invitational in September and was named Big 12 Golfer of the Month in March.
