Yesterday, Saturday, had the least reported deaths since April. Just thought people would enjoy some good news, considering our "news" networks would rather have us living in horror 24/7.
Thanks for letting us know,it won't get reported anywhere else.Coach K must be running the "news" media in addition to coaching basketball

Which happens first? You will hear this reported on CNN, or MSNBC, or ABC, or CBS, or NBC. Or Hell freezes over?

This can’t be true. None of the hacks are reporting it. They said we will all die because Trump held a rally, then made fun of it because it wasn’t full. Not a word on how many attended Biden’s rally, or Sharptons.

That’s great news for Kentucky. Hopefully the increases in other states don’t negate this progress.

At this point it all just feels like media and government PR attempts to justify what has turned out to be a royal **** up. At the beginning it made sense for everyone, but now outside of a few really hard hit areas, it should absolutely be business as usual for everyone else.

Increased case counts mean nothing without all the other data, especially when we know some states are lumping antibody positives in that category now.

When COVID hospitalizations (people having to be hospitalized because of COVID ad not people going in for surgery who tests positive w/out symptoms or is AB positive) and COVID-caused ICU/death rates, I’ll start to worry. Right now this feels much more like the media and certain politicians trying to scare the population back into their caves.

Bingo. With all due respect to anyone who has actually lost someone to this, or anyone who has had someone who was severely ill and hospitalized for an extended period due to extremely grave illness resulting from it.....those people are the extreme, extreme minority. .0001%

And again, with due respect to people who have caught it and then been sick and gotten better, with varying symptoms but essentially just feeling like crap for a bit like any other flu virus....why should the general population care about that any more than any other flu season?

The media in this country is downright shameful anymore. Its disgusting.

Check link below, then scroll down to Daily New Deaths in the United States graph. Use your mouse pointer and hit the day the OP talked about. Firstly, it wasn't the lowest day, it was the day after. Secondly, look at the graph from last Saturday through today. Notice anything? Yep, it's starting to go up (deaths). We were on a downward trajectory, but Americans pent up for a few weeks couldn't see straight and ran directly to their friends' parties, bars, beaches and churches as soon as state and federal gov't mouthpieces decided to announce "get back at it!". We are now again approaching 1000 deaths per day (last two days were 800+ deaths vs. the past 7-10 days of as low as high 200s).

Deaths when this thing started always lagged behind new case reporting because it can take a few days to a couple of weeks before someone can die after being diagnosed. Check the link off and on over the next few days to couple of weeks, and then we can discuss whether it's all a fraud or not. I predict this graph will be back to the 1500-2000 deaths per day within 7-10 days. Would love to be wrong, but it's not looking good with the number of cases and spike in hospitalizations in multiple states across the US.

554 with 15 states left to report. The majority of the states that haven't reported are low in population density....

anyone who dies from ANY cause while in a hospital or nursing home will be counted as a covid victim. This includes accidents.I know of one person who died from injuries in a motorcycle accident but was on a ventilator for a short period. The death certificate listed covid as cause. The family wanted it changed but was told to wait till after 8/15 to do so because the hospital received money if covid was listed.

Then why didn’t George Floyd’s death count? He had the China virus.

Deaths can only be compared to the same day of the week prior, not daily.

This week, the deaths have been lower vs their last week counterpart each day. The margin grows even larger when you take into account 67 Delaware deaths from March reported on Monday, 53 Arizona deaths from prior weeks reported Tuesday, and 1,851 New Jersey deaths reported today from past months now presumed probable.

Since June 1, hospitalization is down 1500 (was down much more than that, but has moved up). ICU is down 2200 (7800-5300).

During June, there hasn’t been a daily death count to reach 1000.

We will not see 2000 deaths a day in the next 7-10. If hospitalization doubles and ICU triples, then we could look for those numbers.

The daily trend has been down every day since May 6th, with the exception of June 23rd. That day Delaware decided to throw in several deaths that were not reported from April and May.

The world trend has been relatively flat even with the dramatic increase in cases.
