Yule Log?
Sugar Cookies?
Vanilla Nut Taps?

Poor Casey. Wonder if his cancellation will end?

I like gluhwein with brandy at the holidays. Reminds me of the Christmas fests in Germany. Pizzelles shaped like snowflakes too.

I‘ve enjoyed Christmas Markets in Germany on some trips for work. Gluhwein and apple wine, plus good eats. The Christmas Market in Frankfurt is amazing (actually several throughout the city).

Coffee Sport: A blend of vanilla ice cream, coffee and whiskey. Even us kids (in the 70's) were allowed to drink coffee sport on Christmas Eve after midnight mass.

Never been to the one in Frankfurt; I was stationed in Heidelberg, so went there, to Mannheim, Speyer, and Schwetzingen. Speyer is probably the best one I've been to in Germany.

Many, many years ago I dated this lovely lady who would make a thermos of hot buttered rum which we took to PennState games. Once I opened it the aroma generated favorable comments from the fans sitting around us and it tasted great. I regret never getting the recipe. All I remember is she made it in a a crack pot and it cooked overnight. Anyone have a recipe they would like to share? TIA!
