. . . was Hamilton, Schumacher and Boesch!! Combined total batting average of about .600. Is that some kind of MLB record for offensive ineptitude in the same OF lineup? No wonder Price got himself thrown out before the game started, who would want to watch that?

Reminiscent of a 1982 outfield of Paul Householder/Clint Hurdle/Eddie Milner days - 2 white stiffs and a fast black guy.

And a new low . . . Price batted the pitcher 8th in the lineup and Hamilton 9th yesterday. First time that the Reds have batted the pitcher anywhere but no. 9 since 1933. Way to go Redlegs!!

The Reds are just a terrible team. They have some decent young arms in the rotation but their offense is just pathetic. Add in that they are terrible fundementally and you have a mess.

They have some guys that should be hitting much better than they do. I'd be looking at the hitting coach. There has to be someone out there that can teach Bruce to hit the ball to left field vs pulling off everything on the outer half of the plate.
