They're a daisy if they do.

PS. Sorry to steal your line Doc, but it seemed to fit perfectly here.

Ffffaaaarrrr cccaaaalllllll!!!!!!

Besides Anthony Davis I've never seen cal go after one player so hard. If we don't get him it will be the biggest defeat in recruiting for cal in his tenure here. Sure there were others like brown amongst others but cal has been on him like white on rice.

Why would it be a defeat? There are UK bound from the start kids, Duke bound from the start kits etc. I threw Duke in there since we love to talk about them so much. Then there are kids that take their time deciding and regardless of what we think, it's not a defeat when a kid goes elsewhere. You can't lose what was never yours in the first place. If a kid verbal's then changes his mind, that's a loss.JMO

He must have loved what he saw from Luke Maye against Michigan State and said "I too, can be that awful. Sign me up!"

I say that because 9/10 times cal gets the guy he wants especially if he's been on him for a while. For 2 years cal has pulled out all the stops to get his guy. Hell he even had drake come back this yr to sweeten the deal for Zion. It's not a coincidence that cal mentioned Drake being at midnight madness right after pro day. Drake did show up at his highschool wearing zions jersey. There are few guys cal has gone all in for and came up empty I just pray this doesn't add to the list

People just need to get over it...we aint gettin Zion. But who cares...we got Keldon Johnson who is more than just a dunk machine....he can actually score from anywhere on the court.

Yeah you are so much more credible with your ever so annoying and lame/played out "farrrr cal" posts.
I'm not claiming to know anything more than the next guy Nostradamus. For one reason or another you consistently say we Zion isn't coming here. Since you're so adamant, myself amongst others would love to know your sources or inside info.

I have a friend that is a sports beat reporter in rural North Carolina. He thinks they have Zion locked up too. And this was 3 weeks ago

So... UNCheat... begs the question why? I took a quick and cursory look at recent some "big time"recruits that went with Roy and co. I am sure there are many more others will add to the list - but... Kennedy Meeks waived. Marcus Paige - G league. Brice Johnson (likely best prospect of the 3) - G league. J.P Tokoto - G league.

I know there are UK examples as well - but these were big names and upperclassman for UNCheat. They have not transitioned well. Roy clearly holds kids back and doesn't develop them for a future.

Zion is going to be fine based on his athleticism alone - but why go with a coach that has such a poor record of preparing kids for the next level. Joel Berry II - you're next...

P.J. Hairston... James Michael McAdoo... Kendall Marshall... Isaiah Hicks...

Harrison Barnes is his only recent (within the past 5 years) bright spot - jury still out on Justin Jackson

It sickens me to say but now UNC is in the clear and Zion added them after the fact reading the tea leaves it sure seems like they are a major player for him. He’s probably receiving texts from Michael Jordan once a week. This is a situation I don’t feel good about

Good to see the arrogant “we’re Carolina, we can get anyone we want just by letting them smell our farts” attitude is back.

You can add Theo Pinson to that group soon. Also Barnes and Johnson were surefire one and dones. They both had to stay multiple years. Hopefully recruits take notice.

LOL.

I do think UNC is a serious player here. Close to home, huge brand, and no competition on the team as it is now. Makes a lot more sense for him than Duke or Clemson.

I was a sports beat reporter in rural Kentucky and I can promise you I wasn't talking to John Calipari about the most prized recruit in the country. I was interviewing volleyball coaches before a JV game on a Thursday afternoon.

He didn't add them after the fact. If you care enough to be worried, care enough to keep up.
