You can kill us, but you can’t take our heart! What a team. Students—pay attention and support their last home games.

Someone suggested here not being interested in the BTT or NIT. Screw that, these kids find things to play for: pride, fans, BTT, NIT/Crown, there’s always something to play for.

So proud of this group. Keep going, keep building, the future could be awesome! Love how they keep answering the bell for Collins and eachother.

I watched this game and am now really (or is it strangely?) optimistic about this year and next.

If Nick Martinelli is the culture bearer/tone-setter for this team, then these guys will play in a back alley using a makeshift ring for a hoop. They just wanna keep the season going and play together - anywhere, anytime.

Making the BTT would be a significant accomplishment this year as it would avoid a cellar finish despite catastrophic injuries and would also give Ty and MN a more fitting Sendoff for their NU careers. The NIT… I view as similar but less so (still nice). An NIT game would be a really nice final game opportunity for our seniors.

Any postseason play is good, IMO. More work for our young guards and a few more moments for our seniors.

Despite our recent success, we are a LONG way from even thinking that any postseason is NOT valuable.

I was living in the Louisville area the year Pitino was forced out. They eneded up being invited to the NIT and, initially, said they were not going to play in it. Reports, true or not, were that they had asked the players and that was their position. The local blowback was fierce, people really did not like that attitude. So they ended up playing in it. I admired the fans for that.
