Alabama quarterback Bryce Young added a new NIL deal to his growing list, and this time it involves food.

The Crimson Tide star announced he has partnered with Subway, and he now has his own sub. “The Tuscaloosa” is composed of steak, bacon, Monterey cheddar cheese and chipotle sauce.

“A sub worthy of a dynasty,” Young included on his Instagram story.

The sophomore is one of the highest-paid college athletes in the nation as a result of the new rules surrounding name, image and likeness. Alabama head coach Nick Saban mentioned this summer the quarterback is making in the seven-figure range.

Fellow in-state quarterback Bo Nix signed a deal with Subway as well. The Auburn quarterback, who is unfortunately out for the remainder of the season with a broken ankle, announced the deal on his Instagram on Friday.

Alabama, Young one win away from Atlanta

If Alabama wins one of their two remaining games of this regular season, they are Atlanta bound for the SEC Championship Game against Georgia.

Alabama needed their first-year starter under center to play well to get to this point, and Young has answered the call.

The sophomore from California leads Power Five quarterbacks with 33 touchdown passes, and he is second in passer rating only behind Georgia’s Stetson Bennett. Young is accurate and careful with the ball, boasting a 70.9% completion percentage and having thrown just three interceptions this season.

Despite dealing with a young, inexperienced offensive line that has suffered injuries and seen a fair amount of shuffling, Young radiates poise in the pocket. He has been sacked 22 times this season but rarely appears to get flustered.

Moving forward, Young will look to build upon last weekend’s performance against New Mexico State in which he went 21-for-23 with 270 yards and five touchdowns. It was his fifth game this season accounting for four or more total touchdowns; he has thrown for at least four scores four times, and he had two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns against Tennessee.

The Alabama faithful hope the top-notch performance against the Aggies gave him a confidence boost as they head into their final two games and postseason play.

This weekend, the Crimson Tide host an Arkansas team seeking their fourth straight win. Alabama is a 20.5-point favorite for the 2:30 p.m. CT game on CBS.
