Bo Nix is a second-generation Auburn quarterback. His father, Patrick Nix, was a quarterback for the Tigers from 1992-1995. Nix’s legendary moment came in the 1993 Iron Bowl. He replaced injured starting quarterback Stan White and led the Tigers to a comeback victory over Alabama to complete an undefeated 11-0 season. He was a team captain in 1995 and was the school’s scholar-athlete of the year. Bo played for his father at Pinson Valley (Ala.) and won two state championships. He gained over 12,000 career total yards of offense yards and scored 161 total touchdowns. He was the first true freshman to start the season opener at Auburn since at least 1946. He won SEC Freshman of the Year in 2019. He was a team captain as a sophomore. Nix has three siblings: Emma Grace, Sara and Caleb. Caleb Nix is a quarterback in the 2022 recruiting class. Nix is studying at the liberal arts college at Auburn.
