Nick Saban talks Michigan, Rose Bowl preparation | Alabama Football

An important visitor was spotted at Thursday’s Alabama practice, with BOL‘s Charlie Potter seeing USC transfer cornerback Domani Jackson. Usually, transfers are the ones making visits to see practice. However, Jackson did not have to drive too far from home to see the Crimson Tide, staying in the Los Angeles area.

We now have video proof of Jackson showing up, taking in practice ahead of the College Football Playoff semifinal vs. Michigan. Nick Saban went out of his way to say hello to the defensive back, shaking a few hands before getting back to business and focusing on the task at hand.

Smiles all around for Saban, Jackson, and whoever else was standing in a mini-huddle. You can watch the full moment between Jackson and Saban here, via AL.com.

This is not the first time Jackson has ever met with Saban despite being a USC player over the past two seasons. Alabama was a serious contender in Jackson’s high school recruitment when he was a Five-Star Plus+ prospect out of Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei.

Alabama is not the only school in the running to land Jackson out of the NCAA transfer portal. Funny enough, Michigan is fighting for his services according to On3’s Pete Nakos. While the two are set to battle it out on Jan. 1 at the Rose Bowl, they are fighting to pick up a commitment from Jackson too.
