The Alabama football team has a significant visitor attending Thursday’s practice ahead of the Rose Bowl College Football Playoff semifinal against Michigan: former USC cornerback Domani Jackson.

Jackson was spotted walking into practice by BOL’s Charlie Potter.

The former USC defensive back entered the NCAA transfer portal on Dec. 18, set to seek a new destination to play his college football in 2024.

Domani Jackson spent his first two seasons with head coach Lincoln Riley at USC, seeing plenty of playing time under former defensive coordinator Alex Grinch. During his two years in the program, he would play in 18 games: seven as a freshman in 2022 and 11 this past season.

In those 18 games, Jackson would record 35 total tackles, 28 solo, and four passes defended.

His potential is through the roof.

He was the No. 5 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle and the top player to come out of California, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Domani Jackson played high school football at Mater Dei High in Santa Ana, CA, where he was the nation’s top cornerback recruit and a five-star plus prospect.
