2022 linebacker Sam Ross commits to California Golden Bears
Orinda (Calif.) Miramonte linebacker Sam Ross has committed to California, he announced on Friday.
Ross picked the Golden Bears over offers from Air Force, San Jose State, Idaho and others.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder notched 93 total tackles as a senior for Miramonte, including 24 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.
He is Calās 14th commitment in the 2022 class, joining a group headlined by four-star running back Jadyn Ott, three-star defensive lineman Nathan Burrell and three-star offensive tackle Trent Ramsey. Calās class ranks No. 48 nationally and No. 7 in the Pac-12, according to the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
