Clemson defensive tackle Bryan Bresee has officially made a decision on his future and whether to enter the 2023 NFL Draft. The former No. 1 overall recruit in the 2020 class will be heading to the NFL.

Bresee arrived at Clemson and had an immediate impact as a true freshman despite the challenges brought on by COVID-19 in 2020, starting 10 games and racking up 33 tackles, four sacks, a forced fumble and a safety. He earned first-team All-ACC honors and was named the ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year.

He was just getting started, too.

Despite being limited to just four games in 2021 due to injury, Bresee was named a third-team All-SEC selection and was credited with 15 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception on just 154 snaps.

This season, Bresee finished with 15 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in ten games. He also had two passes defended.

Many NFL Draft analysts have Bresee projected as a high NFL Draft pick with Day 1 potential, though how his medical tests eventually come back on the knee injury he suffered in 2021 will be key.
