Bryan Bresee was the On3 Consensus No. 1 recruit in the country coming out of Damascus (Md.) High. He finished his career with 80.5 tackles for loss and 35 sacks. He emerged right away at Clemson, earning Freshman All-American honors, All-ACC first team and ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year. He played in only four games in 2021 but was named All-ACC third team. During the 2022 season, his younger sister, Ella, died at the age of 15 due to a rare form of brain cancer. The team held a game decided to her called the “Ella Strong” game right before her passing. He is majoring in sociology. Breese is the son of Richard and Meghan Bresee. In addition to Ella, he has two sisters named Bailey and Kendall.
