Hunter Tyson discussed his team’s impressive performance

“Yeah man. We had a good night. Every guy produced for us. Played really hard. Played really well. We had a good day,” Tyson said.

He discussed the sense of urgency the Tigers had coming into Saturday night’s game, knowing they are trying to make it into the NCAA Tournament.

“Yeah, man. Obviously, we really want to make it and we feel like we’ve got a really good team and we can make some noise if we get in there, but we’ve got a little bit of work to do. And we’re ready to accept the challenge. We’re just trying to take it day-by-day and if we get in there, we’re gonna make some noise,” Tyson said.

He talked about the key for his team coming into the upcoming ACC Tournament in the Greensboro Coliseum.

“Just giving it everything we have. We’re gonna have a few days of practice coming up to prepare ourselves. We’re gonna take those very seriously. For whoever we play, just prepare, trust in our coaching staff, because they’ll give us a good plan in order to win. And just go out there and give it our all and play together,” the Clemson star said.

Saturday night was senior night for the Clemson Tigers in front of their home fans. As one of his team’s seniors, Hunter Tyson took some time to appreciate that he’s been able to fulfill a lifelong dream in suiting up for the Tigers.

“Yeah, man. It’s been awesome, honestly. I’m so thankful to Clemson. I’ve just been so blessed, man. God put me in this position. It was a dream of mine to play in this conference. And just being able to live out that dream here at Clemson University has truly been awesome and I’m forever thankful to them,” Tyson said.

Clemson also got 14 points and five rebounds from Chase Hunter. P.J. Hall had a big evening for the Tigers, stuffing the stat sheet with 15 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks. Hall has now scored 1,000 points during his Tigers’ career. When their three superstars show up, Clemson is an extremely difficult team to beat. Their first game will be in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament on Thursday evening, March 9.
