Recruiting season is back underway following the end of the February dead period, and Clemson is wasting no time trying to build on its momentum on the trail.

The Tigers are hosting a bevy of impressive prospects on campus this weekend, including one of the top players in The Peach State.

Warner Robins (Ga.) four-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson continues to emerge as one of the best players at his position in the 2025 cycle. As he works through the next phase of his recruitment, he’s back in South Carolina to check out the illustrious ACC program once again.

Gibson is the No. 37 overall prospect and No. 2 EDGE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 8 player in Georgia.

The in-state Bulldogs are currently trending for the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons wrote this of Gibson’s recruitment last month:

“The Bulldogs are an in-state school for the star at Warner Robins High, and he likes the relationships in Athens and the fit into the defense. Georgia will receive an official visit. Schools Georgia is up against are Clemson, Oklahoma and Oregon. Others are in the mix, including Alabama, who recently offered, but Georgia is setting the pace in this race.”

The Tigers are looking to jut in the race for Gibson’s pledge. He visited Death Valley for a game in November and has ties to the program. His former teammate, Vic Burley, signed with Clemson in 2022.

“This offer means a lot because I could possibly be teaming up with my former teammate. I have been around Vic and he has told me about Clemson,” Gibson told On3 after being offered last year.

Clemson Class Breakdown

Clemson’s class consists of eight blue-chip prospects, including the nation’s No. 28 recruit in Norfolk (Va.) Maury four-star EDGE Ari Watford. Watford pledged to the Tigers near the end of January.

“Clemson is a very unique place,” Watford told On3. “The people there and the family-oriented culture Coach Swinney has built stood out to me. People go to Clemson go for the right reasons and that’s something I’ve wanted to be a part of growing up.”

Seven additional four-star recruits are committed to the Tigers: Durham (N.C.) Southern defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell, Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian Academy running back Gideon Davidson, Lake City (S.C.) South Florence defensive lineman Amare Adams, Buford (Ga.) offensive tackle Brayden Jacobs, Lawrence (Mass.) Central Catholic quarterback Blake Hebert, Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian Academy interior offensive lineman Easton Ware and Savannah (Ga.) Christian Prep tight end Logan Brooking.

Anderson (S.C.) Belton-Honea Path three-star running back Marquise Henderson and Woodbridge (Va.) Freedom three-star wide receiver Carleton Preston have both joined the class since December.
