As a Recruit
Vic Burley is a student of the game, according to his coach, Marquis Westbrook. “We try to tell our players, 'You can't turn it on at any time,'” Westbrook said. “He's one of those guys who can do that, but he keeps it there. He's different from that standpoint. I think his preparation and his mentality, the way he approaches Monday through Thursday for practice is different, which makes it easy on Friday for him.” It was easy enough that Burley played a major role as a freshman for the talented Warner Robins program and has become one of the most heavily recruited players in the school’s storied history. Away from football, Burley also participates in basketball and track. He also likes to read and plans on majoring in math or social studies in college. His parents are Heather and William Burley. His sibling is Vincent Burley.
