Buford (Ga.) Hebron Christian Academy four-star EDGE KingJoseph Edwards will be visiting Florida for its final regular season game of the season.

That visit will be his second in two days as he will be at UCF on Nov. 26 for the Knights rivalry game against USF.

Before those visits, he will make a stop by Raleigh, N.C., for NC State‘s game against Syracuse.

Edwards has previous made visits to Texas A&M, Georgia and Arkansas. He was also scheduled to visit Florida State but was unable to make the trip.

The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Edwards as the No. 55 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle and fourth-best EDGE.

KingJoseph Edwards is a fascinating prospect in the 2024 recruiting cycle

On3’s Jeremy Johnson saw KingJoseph Edwards this summer at Southern Exposure Camp in Georgia. He came away impressed with the 2024 prospect and named him one of the standouts of the event.

“Edwards stands out when instantly with his physical stature,” Johnson said. “He’s 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds as a sophomore. Edwards could be heading for a career playing the edge at the college level with that size, but at the moment, he doubles as a jumbo wide receiver.”

Edwards is a two-way player at Hebron Christian Academy and worked out with the receivers at the camp.

While he is listed as an EDGE in the On3 Database and that’s where he likely ends up at the next level, Johnson believes he could an impact player on the offensive side of the ball.

“Edwards is fast enough to get over the top of corners and too big for them to bully. His route running will improve, and he will become more explosive,” Johnson said. “Edwards is a potentially elite prospect in the class of 2024.”
