King Joseph Edwards began his high school career at Hebron Christian Academy before transferring to Hoschton (Georgia) Mill Creek before his junior season. He played on both sides of the football during his sophomore season – he totaled 42 tackles and a sack in 2021 – but he missed a chunk of his junior season at Mill Creek with a shoulder injury. According to Mill Creek coach Josh Lovelady, most schools project Edwards on the defensive side of the ball in college, but he “does have the athleticism to play offense.” Away from football, Edwards enjoys playing piano and basketball. His favorite musician is Lil Baby and his favorite food is mac and cheese. He has a 3.0 GPA and plans on majoring in computer science or psychology. His mother is Alicia Edwards.
